air flow meters

hi recently bought a 2.7td terrano, nothing wrong as just got it testd ,just bought a maverick 2.7td for our lass needs a looking at never had much to do with these before,problem with the mav lack of power, you guys said look at the small filter on the pump,also possible air flow meter probs.my terrano does not have air flow meter as it is a 94 model ,mav is a 95 were air flow meters only fitted after 96 models , not looked at the mav yet. cheers

The mav will not have a AFM, lack of power could be down to a few things, like needing new filters air & or fuel.

I believe its only the 2.7 tdi engines that have the maf sensors from end 1996

there are two different sensors the bosch one and the much rarer hitatchi these are not interchangeable has they have different plugs and different number of wires...... regards....bri :smile:
