Air con

In a nut shell, it dont work! so where do i begin.

It all looks ok and the blue light come on on the heater display, but it dont get any colder. With Air Con i have no idea, so any help would be great.

if nothing happens then it has probably lost its gas, take one of the black plastic covers off from the AC pipes and you will see a tyre type valve press it is no gas = no gas, get it charged will be the first step, Rick

Now, do i get it re-gassed or not! cos if i do where did the old gas go. Its got a sticker saying it was regassed in 08, it could be leaking, is there a way to test it?

Kwik fit regas for £45 and don't charge/refund if it doesn't work.

had mine done at kwik fit yesterday £49. if there are any leaks the machine shuts down it wont try to recharge.i wondered the same thing as mine hadnt worked since i owned in january.it was quite cold after it had been regassed. but i have to take back within 14 days if it changes.

o dear

Had mine re gased 3 Days later a stone went though the rad :doh So had new rad £80 re gased Like a bloody fridge now re gas cost my 30 quid Lad by me does it But i think a little far for you mate The give away on mine was not the hole as it was only small but i saw what i would say was like a oil dripping on my sump guard Thought the power steering pipes had gone at first But no a dam hole in the rad Hope your is just a re gas mate

As much as i hate to say it, it looks like a trip to Kwik Fit then. A mate of mine works for Halfords car centre (The Mot and fixing side) and he said it £90 but can get it me done for £50 on mates rates.
Im wondering if its worth it though, should i just take it all off and get the extra BHP out the engine. :sly

mine is the same never worked and after reading the thread i too checked and found no gas but had already took the belt off as i had changed the other two belts might be just be in me head but i think it runs quieter and smoother going to take the whole lot off. If it gets that hot theres plenty of windows to open:lol
