Air-con Smells

Just got my first Terrano after having a Discovery for the last 10 years,
On a hot day when I turn on the air-con I get a rotten egg smell,
When turned on, on a cool day it does not smell
Any ideas as to what would cause this

We don't have aircon, and I noticed a rotten egg smell, and it was the windscreen washer bottle had gone bad. Have a good sniff...:augie
A mixture of different brands I guess.

I emptied it, flushed it, then added some bleach solution, pumped it through, left it a few hours, but I also washed the vehicle in case the bleach affected the paintwork.

Drained the bottle flushed through with clean water, then added new screen washer.

Problem solved.:thumb2

what he said, truck had been stood a month or so before i bought mine and had that same smell just gave the washer bottle a good clean and all was well again

to start look in down load section.

change the filter. my guess is its never been changed at all
