Had one but sold it but just so you know the 3.0 is different to the 2.7

I've just had one replaced on my Honda Jazz, originally bought one off eBay - big mistake. Didn't get around to getting it fitted for a couple of months and when I did, it leaked too (and too late to return it), total cost £210! Then had to get a brand new one put in, another £330 - think it's one of those parts it's better to buy new.

Thanks fellas. Definitely the condenser that's leaking, I can see fluid escaping at the bottom. Reckon it's had a stone through it at some point............

There are a few on eBay for around the £75-£100 mark. Someone here may still have ne available though. The truck's only been without air con for the last two years so another couple of weeks shouldn't matter :augie

If it is a result of impact damage rather than corrosion, then you can get it welded, it is alloy and perfectly weldable, Rick

I haven't had a close enough look at it yet, but to be honest I hadn't considered that. There are a few witness marks that made me think it was down to a stone & I just assumed I was looking at a replacement. I'm off work for a couple of weeks shortly, so I'll haul it off & get a closer look at it :thumb2

If they are on eBay that cheap, there's probably a reason why :doh

If it's like a radiator, there are places that repair them so as Rick says, should be able to get it fixed.

Hopefully it'll be good news then. Mightily impressed with the cold air while it was working, so I'd like to get it back in working order. I have some stainless weldmesh lying about too, so I reckon a stone-guard behind the bumper vents will be a good idea to prevent it happening again. Bit daft of Nissan not to have considered that in the first place to be honest, given their decision to place the condenser there :nenau

Thanks to everyone for their input :thumb2
