Air Bag Light

Hi, I recently Changed the Drivers Seat, in the manner recommended ie Disconnect the battery before undoing the wire connector under the seat for the Air bag, and vice versa on fitting replacement seat !

But the Dash Air bag light keeps Flashing ? Any Ideas anyone !

The airback connectors under the seats are have been a problem on mine in the past as the connectors do not always make a good contact. Dealer soldered the wires together (under Nissan warrenty) which cured the problem.

Look in the workshop area. Theres a fix in there.

that is a very good point, I have an air bag problem that after trying all the reset procedures, none have worked, just could be a bad connection, although I am surprised if this could be the case on such an important bit of kit, but worth a try, Rick

I reset mine with the door light switch method, but it came back.

yes, could be a faulty airbag. Never had problems before, Only happened when I disconnected it.

Mine has also started doing this. The reset in the download section has not worked and if i plug it in to the laptop it tells me there are no faults. :nenau

I no a sure fire way to sort it out though, i think i'm going to take the bloody bulb out. :doh

I used the reset on the down loads and it worked for me, although when I was looking into why my heated seat was not working, I must have moved the wire and the light started to flash again. This points to a problem with the plug or wire under the seat

Mine was the same press the switch in the door several times quick with keys in ign dont no why it worked but it did twice its worked for me.
