Just a quick question, Can someone tell me or show me what the part is that fails on the auto hubs. Ive looked at the hubs but wouldn't know if said troublesome part was even fitted!
Cheers in Advance Ryan.

Hi there
Its the break ring that snaps should be a load of lose bits that are broken.
But if it has been broken before and someone may have removed them it will not be easy to see.
Go the quick links at the top of this page and click on the drop down
In there you will find the down loads there is one on hubs .Good luck I ended up fitting manual hubs all good now:thumbs:thumbs

got to be the gold mine played up a bit and had some of what bluebull had the other week..(egg wheels)

so used them properly by the book, stopping to engage and stopping to disengage. with plenty of roll back too

seemed to fix it.

will try that oil thing as soon as i get time

O yes
You should look at my hello from norfolk and my 4x4 problems thread:(:(
Fixed the autos and it still did it so gave up and fitted manuals no problems now:thumbs
You just turn them to 4x4 when you think you need them and then engage them in the cab when you need them easy :thumbs

i will change them when i have the spare cash, ltd works well never got stuck in snow, well impressed. :D

That works great if they are getting stick due to old grease in the hubs:thumb2did mine 2 years ago & have never had to do it again:Dbut if they do play up i'll just fit my spare set of FWH (cost me £4 for the pair:thumbs) until I get to strip the others down:augie
