Aftermarket oil temp gauge fitting in place of sump plug

Hi guys a mate of mine gave me a oil temp gauge and the fitments seem to be in place of the sump plug

My question is what is the size of the sump plug ?

I don't really want to remove my one as the oil hasn't been in there that long

Any help would be great
