Just wondering why terranos have the aerials in different places, my 1993 lwb has one in the front wing, my other 1995 has one in the roof at the rear and the maverick we had used to have one on the roof at the front between the Top of the windscreen and sunroof. I'm just curious

yep ive wondered that too, as said on mk4 at front of roof, maybe less cable
then running from back of roof as was on mk2.

suprised they didnt go for an in glass solution, seen some use rear heated
window element.

the patrol had an electric aerial in the nearside front wing, though vulnerable
off roading, mind supose on roof is as well, though atleast flexi type can
spring back.

atleast at front of roof can pull down flat accessed by opening the sunroof.

mine is broken down to the base hinge, i wonder if could combine cb twig
as radio with a cb/fm splitter/filter and then have full time cb reception.

Car manufacturers have to keep up with trends and making changes every year or so to keep people buying their cars. Wing aerials used to get snapped off by the local low lives so manufacturers put rubber aerials on and then put them on the roof's.

I've got a complete aerial with the dash to roof cable and there's a lot of coax. The same length as my living room:lol

this is the wire that runs the in the roof to the rear. its about 5M long
