Dude, what did you use as an air filter? Im Gonna get one tomorrow.

What on earth are you doing up at 04:50..

I have a painful shoulder, sometimes I wake up in agony, I find sitting up or half an hour helps.
I try to avoid too much pain killers. Some days are better than others.
Signs of getting old I guess.
You should have seen me last year trying to lower the fuel tank on my mav, and even worse, trying to put a replacement back.
I went under resting it on my tummy... not a pretty sight.:nenau

:lol:lol:lol

It was treated originally as "Frozen Shoulder" but xrays show some wear and tear on the shoulder joint. So arthritis is the culprit. I have had one shoulder injection of steroids, and physio, but after 2 years with it... they can do no more except increase the strength of the pain killers.
They can eventually operate, but not for a few years yet.
It is my left shoulder, so gear changing can be a pain... literally..

However, I have tried alternative therapy, one an old wives tail, (not mine I will add).
Cider vinegar, about 30ml in the morning, but it must be organic, non pasturised.
I am also trying some gel from the chemist called flexiseq, which at £18 a small tube, not a prescription item I will say, has also helped.

It is the mobility issue of not being able to put my left arm behind my back or out to the left that is the biggest problem. Even putting a jacket on is weird, left arm first... just try it... seems very awkward.
Any way, I can still hold a glass of Malt, but sometimes it hurts to just tilt the glass. But then again I have my right arm for that...

Eventually, the next car might have to be an automatic, saves gear changes.
BUT I still intend driving my Mav.
Thanks for the concern.:thumb2

If you are gonna look for an auto, I know how much you love your girl. I'd be tempted to wait till the box gets bad and pay for an auto transplant. That way you know the rest of the truck is good.

Besides, haven't you had that truck for a while :augie :nenau

Being a fish keeper I know these types of foam well but I wouldn't even use the finest grade foam as an air filter as it won't stop the likes of dust getting straight into the engine your much better off & safer with a free flowing performance filter:thumbs

Ahh Rustic know what the pain is like as I suffer from 2 frozen shoulders, connective tissue disease in both shoulders & the right one is unstable:rolleyes: but the worst thing is having to get my wife to dress the top 1/2 of me when it really plays up:doh

Now that's a nice wife :)

I'd rather my wife dressed the lower half of me ;)
