Advice needed on Navarra purchase .

Hello , Paul here from London/Kent border area . I am thinking of buying a Navarra for work .

I need to tow a digger and trailer totaling about 2.5 tons on a daily basis. I like the look of some Navarras I have seen on 2006 regs. Can someone tell me the bhp of these vehicles and which is the most powerful variant and when this 2006 shape started . Also I have heard that some of these vehicles have had severe engine problems , is this true .

Hi, I owned a TII (for a year) and had a Pathfinder (aka navarra with seats in) for a couple of weeks.

Considering the pros and cons of both, unless you want a pick up, i reckon a late series TII with the back seats down may be the best alternative.

Do you think the Navarra on say an 05 , 55 , reg would be better for towing than an Mitsubishi warrior on the same year ? The last of the old shape warriors .

I know land rovers and discoverys are meant to be the best for towing but I don't really want one.

This will give info on d22 and d40 d22 are 133bhp and d40 177bhp some of the d40 have been lowered (by Nissan) because of clutch burnout.

Thanks guys , seems the D40 is much more powerful than a warrior . Think I will see if I can find a decent one for the money I have got.
