Been off the truck a few eeks on sailing comps and whatnot, so just getting back into it :D
Here's a little simple one I've just done.
Lifting the suspension on your T2 means the back axle will be off to one side a bit ( all be it small ) . So having gone to town a bit on the Black Pearl I thought I might as well make the Panhard rod adjustable so the axlecan be acurately centered :thumbs
I cut the rod near one end and got my local lathe guru to insert and weld a threaded insert.

I couldn't get a rubber bush anymore so had to get a ruddy poly bush one :(

The other end of the rod has a threaded bar welded in and a lock nut .

Slapped a bit of Alex all over it and got this

Detailed shot of the business end :)

The end result , ON. Still needs to be adjusted correctly but you get the idea :D

Wow that looks awesome!

May I ask what the silver junction box with hose is on the right of the diff? :thumb2

That's the brake pipe splitter or T piece. Sends brake fluid from the one IN pipe to two OUT pipes . Then on to each slave cylinder :D

Nice work!
Does that brake splitter mean you are bypassing the load balancing valve?

You'll all have a splitter, but yes I have binned the load bias valve.
There's a thread on it somewhere :D

Does no one go under their truck these days??

:lol

Looks good, This reminded me I never measured a standard one for you. Do you still need it?

:lol:lol:lol must go under their truck to sleep if they have never seen the block with the flexi brake hose in and the two steel ones out to the rear wheel cylinders.
