Been off the truck a few eeks on sailing comps and whatnot, so just getting back into it
Here's a little simple one I've just done.
Lifting the suspension on your T2 means the back axle will be off to one side a bit ( all be it small ) . So having gone to town a bit on the Black Pearl I thought I might as well make the Panhard rod adjustable so the axlecan be acurately centered :thumbs
I cut the rod near one end and got my local lathe guru to insert and weld a threaded insert.
I couldn't get a rubber bush anymore so had to get a ruddy poly bush one
The other end of the rod has a threaded bar welded in and a lock nut .
Slapped a bit of Alex all over it and got this
Detailed shot of the business end
The end result , ON. Still needs to be adjusted correctly but you get the idea
