Why not use a length of hose from your outlet to the hedge and bypass the waste hog.
To be honest with you, we don't go through to much water and just empty the waste master when needed
My gorgeous wife never camped until I introduced her to it 12 years ago, so has no idea on how to survive on minimum water. In order to make her realise just how much water we use, it's her job to fill the aquarolls when needed, and she thinks we have done well if we get away with just one aquaroll in a day. We have 2 x 30litre ones, and when she washes her hair, we can do both of them in a day easily, and often need a refill before the day is out. She can fill the hog up in a day.:augie
The problem with "straight through" is that, any fat, bubbles or peas and stuff in the water then make a mess in the hedge. The do a soak away pipe, for caravans, but they are expensive, and over time they fill up with all the grease and stuff and stop working. They are horrible to clean out.
The sites we go on do not mind (in fact encourage), the waste water in the hedge, but do not want all the other bits especially any foam or bubbles, so by doing it this way, you can get away with just emptying the hog once a week to get rid of those bits.
an Essex flange will do the job, all done from the outside, we use these on copper hot water cylinders to supply shower pumps, you can get them in 15mm or 22mm sizes, Rick
Cheers Rick, I will look into what an Essex Flange is, and see if I can get one.
