Nice one bud!
One thing, there's a drain hole in the airbox with no valve or anything on it to stop water getting in. Worthwhile sticking a blob of silicone on it to keep the airbox watertight (if you haven't already) :thumb2

Some pics of todays work
I thought it was there to let water out i.e. Condensation, but if that is the general opinion then I'll bung it

Thanks, but I'm suffering for it now. I ache so much . It reminded me why I started paying people to do it for meYou are doing a great job, you have done in a day, what I would now take a week or more to do.:clap:clap
I really couldn't work like that with all those bits on and around the engine.
I would have to have a table, or a door across a couple of trestles lol.
A friend of mine did that and forgot something like your 1/2" flexible drive joint, he slammed the bonnet shut, and up it popped. a huge dent and cracked paintwork on the bonnet. :doh:doh
Uncle Rustic
Looks like a great days work.
Just me learning here.
Would you need that drain hole to drain any rain water that goes down the snorkel or do you not get enough rain water down there to cause a problem?
A good snorkel head shouldn't let any rain water down the snorkel. If the drain hole had a one way valve on it then there wouldn’t be an issue but like I said it's just a hole so can let water in as easily as letting it out.
