Had a cracking day out laning around South Devon yesterday with the guys from The Discovery Owners Club. The Maverick performed brilliantly, once again showing how good a standard truck with good tyres (Kumho KL71's) can be. There was one deep river crossing that we all thought better of due to the depth. I must try and sort out a snorkel solution. Sorry I don't have any pics, I forgot the camera, :doh. I only suffered a slightly dented front wing, where the truck was leaning against a rock wall, in a tight, steep, off camber lane. This outing has highlighted that I need to get a CB, and sort out some roof lighting for an upcoming night run out.
