Eyup guys, had a yellow warning of snow so I ignored it and woke up to heavy snow :clap
I was on early shift so set off 20 mins early stuck it straight in 4h and set off out of the drive and up the hill sideways, so that’s 4wd not working then. Managed to get out on to main roads and got stuck in a queue, after been at same place for 20 mins turned around gingerly and got home. Got the 3litre out and then decided to put the project truck on the drive safely, the dam thing was happy to reverse up the hill in low box and pull on to the drive so must have been working that time.
Anyhoo had ace fun driving to work in the 3 litre just as positive as my old truck was taking the back roads to beat the queues and made it to work all be it a bit late. Only person to make it in in my office, ace car.
Came out of work to come home and all the snow is gone, been working outside when I got home in my shirt sleeves. What a difference a few hours make ehh.
So the project truck has let me down again, not sure whether to splash out on manual hubs or use my fixed hubs instead. One thing for sure it’s my second truck with auto lockers causing me hassle.
