My caravan needs a new battery and I reckon one of these will do nicely http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111991821537?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

I also want to fit a second battery to my truck to power the winch (when I get one, money is almost set aside :D) and whatever else I think I might need, like a revolving disco ball and some flashing lights :p.

I thought about buying another of the above batteries and using it for the truck :nenau now I ain't made of money so I'm thinking buy one for the van but also use it for dimensions and to trial fit in the truck when I am making a space/custom holder/mess and buy another one later.
What do you guys think?

25kg! I never thought they were as heavy. Never thought about it really. The dimensions are in the description T-Doug :thumbs

Hmm never thought about weight!! Yeh I need to measure my battery box on the van again 'cos I lost the piece of paper but I think this fits and has the correct terminals and the right way round, but using it to help build a holder in the truck should make things easier.

WOW, that first one should come with smelling salts :lol

I said before I never thought about weight but I must retract that statement, it's the reason I want a banner, they are known to contain more lead than equivalent batteries, apparently. I did some reaserch a while ago and added that banner to my ebay list. I will do some weight comparison with other similar batteries though, there is a Varta one that has caught my eye.
