6 cd changer

Hi, just joined today

Any one got any idea how to remove or hopefuly repair.


Did work, but it will not find and play the discs.

have you given it a good clean latley :?: not got one in mine but had one in my last motor and it was clagged up with fluff and god knows what.took it out ,gave it a good clean and worked fine ever since. :smile:

well, i didnt even think of that. if i find a new one ill have to remove the old one any way.

ive just put a cd player in mine,can plug i pod straight in and it takes a sd so no need for a glove box full of cds.the sd doesnt skip and ive got about 10 albums on it so no need for the multi changer.cost 70 quid from argos and it just plugged straight into the original nissan plug(bonus)technology.... dont you just love it. :smile:

ive just got one off ebay mines fitted in the back , its held on to the brackets by 4 8mm nuts. try a cd cleaner first, Cost 95.00 notes.

ok old unit is now out, cleaning with a cd cleaner didnt work



any ideas whats next??

Got the old CD changer taken out, called Nissan 1st, they have not got one but i will ask if he can get one

Just Nissan dont have any,

Nissan new of over £400 GULP...

The makers are based in Swindon. (12 miles from me!) They do refurbished ones, from £60. so will drop it off there, when next in Swindon.

Any one else in need just ask i will pass on numbers address ect..

oh well, got a £50 one from lidle, all fitted now

so thats the end of that..
