All,
Has anyone changed the pads and possibly the Discs on a 3ltr 05 Terrano.

I only ask as mine need doing. I went to quick fit and they have said to me it is £160. The whole hub has to come of and all sorts.

I am not sure if they are the same as the 2.7.

Any advice greatly received.

yes same as the 2.7.

Hub and bearings have to come off to do it. Not difficult, just time consuming.

Make sure when the bearings go back, that they are set up right with regards to tightness.

Are the discs any bigger on the 3.0ltr than the 2.7 ?
I'm looking for some bigger discs and calipers:sly

Lifes a BITCH when you cant STOP.!

Nissan Skyline R33 GTS conversion will go as i was gonna do it :naughty

BUT...

1.front would be 5 stud & rear would be 6 stud :doh
2.to much agro for what its worth :nenau :augie

Just hunt around for a decent set of pads & discs:-

It was just a thought!
Do they do an upgrade caliper for the T2 or do we just go 4 pot somehow:augie
I've seen grooved discs etc but they are direct replacement jobs.
Although they'd be better than std , I'd like to find a bigger disc caliper combo.

All thanks for your help.
I just did the pads as the discs are not 2 bad and dont fancy messing with the bearings etc myself.
As dont have anywhere to do the work other than a slightly sloping drive.

Next job rear brakes and Gearbox, Dif oils.
