3litre Oil Pressure Switch

Has anyone got any experience of replacement oil switches? The download mentions using Thread Lock and gives a loctite brand and a nissan ref number. Did anyone else use it and is it needed?

I used some form of loctite at various stages Jim when adding my pressure gauge etc but the last time I was in about it to fix a small leak in the t junction (must be a year ago now) I just used standard thread tape and didn't have any issues or leaks when I sold her 2 weeks ago.
