Ok so for my Terrano II LWB with 2" body lift, I have to options 31x10,5R15 or 32x11,5R15?

Which one would you choose? I know that 31" will fit without any problems but what about 32"?

Hi mate you may need to do a bit more cutting and folding to make sure they don't catch have you tweaked the torsion bars yet at the front?

Also 11.50 width may be an issue depending on what Rims they are going on.

My 33's are 12.50 and minimum on the tyre manufacturers website is 8.5J

Yes I have adjusted the front torsion bars.. Maybe I'll go with the 31" tyres... :nenau

Don't let me put you off, if you've tweaked the torsion and done the 2" body lift you're not going to have much work to do at all.

I was worried it was going to have to do loads and loads of work to get my 33's to fit based on what others had said but to be honest it was surprisingly less dramatic than led to believe

Go for 32's :thumbs

presume much of clearance issues comes from width as much as height
of bigger tyres.

whilst i'm not likely to do much to upset gearing on mine as have big tintent
to haul I have wondered about 235/85x16s to replace the 235/70x16s.

the 85s are close to 32" and could use same rims, and just over 9" wide,
another bigger used to see are 255/85x16 which are over 33" and 10" wide.

I went home and ordered a set of 31" as I got them cheap :kissy

Big difference when you get off road and flexing! Then you might find they catch a little more than you thought :thumb2

Theres nothing worse than tyres that catch in my opinion as all you've done I fit big tyres! If you cant fully articulate with out catching all your doing is distroying expensive tyres

On onther note I bought a mint engine and box last year off a guy coz he stuck big tyres on went off roading and when he turned to come over a hill the front wheel caught arch locked and sent him rolling sideways down the hill and belive me his terrano was a mess after two complete rolls. Lucky really

Got 31" at on mine with a 2" lift still had to do a bit of trimming
