Not long now for some pics of the north Yorkshire dales trip for your pleasure.
Booked in at a premier inn for a couple of nights.

Weather is always a consideration at this time of year.

I reckon an early ish! start about 09:00 at bank foot and the first lane is quite a long one with an interesting start and a steep is finish.
We may have a look at a long time hard route before the start for those winched up and a set of walking boots to assess the lay of the land:augie
Then its views a plenty with a few fords, and a scratchy bit for those that want to have a go, and a figure of 8 around Glaisdale.

Saturday will be spent with maps and a clear head getting the route just right soas not to miss a lane:thumb2

Pub Lunch or sandwiches:nenau or Coffee n cakes:thumb2

I imagined some horrid gum cutting tooth cracking cracker type cookie :lol

Steve was asking me during the lunch stop on our laning trip "do you want some oatcakes" :nenau

"Err I'm alright thanks Steve" shuddering at the thought of a dry crispy cake :lol

It was at this moment that I saw and smelt the most delicious looking pancake type cake come out, with melted cheese too!!!

Needless to say, I had the last two :lol
