For sale is my Terrano II, electric blue SWB2.4 sport. LPG converted. 82000 miles. MOT'd till 25th May 08, tax for 4 months. Cheap tax due to LPG conversion fully recorded. Excellent interior with no holes or wear. Good straight body with minor stone chips, underneathy fully sealed with waxoil bitumin. 3 probs need sorting.
1) LPG needs servicing and resetting,as battery was disconnected. LPG not been serviced so it needs doing. Quoted £40 for service and reset. Currently does run on LPG but cuts out when clutch depressed due to wrong idle mixture from battery disconnection.
2) Bonnet has no laquer on it, don't know why, i bought it like this. Quoted £200 for respray
3) rear centre cap from alloy missing.
Otherwise in great alround condition and well worth the money i'm asking. Just had new thermostat thats the only work its needed whilst ive had it. Thats as honest as i can be, but it is highly recommended to come have a ride and see what you think. Selling due to relocation. Currently in marham, 10 miles from Kings lynn.

Here is a picture of the above motor, Bonnet resprayed, wheel change and polish!.

awesome

That looks absolutely awesome, really does...
What you doing with it then, i take it there were no problems with it? Looks to good to get rid of

Hello Tony,

Sorry iv`e not been in touch about the motor, It did not start to good, as when i left your place, i was following my son home and a stone come up from his wheel and chipped the screen, but i have had no more problems since.

It feels so different from my Mav, but its six years older.

Got the bonnet and wing re-sprayed, as you know the lacquer had come off, My man said that the reason it had was it was damp when it was sprayed before and the damp got trapped between the paint and lacquer.

Iv`e also put a tow bar on for the caravan and sorted a chrome grill which i think will go nice between the Lexus type lights.

The LPG seems ok and kicks in no problem and carry’s on running even after dipping the clutch.

So, Thanks Tony for a nice motor.

I hope you have a safe time during your journey, that i think you must be making very soon.

Best wishes and regards.

Well done mav you gotta bargin there was gona take a look c at this myself remember it been cheap  looks the biz
I take it you prefer the petrols i must admit my tdi doesnt drive like my petrol mav used to

Hello Rsaddo.
I have only ever owned one diesel and that’s the Patrol that i have.
This Terrano was like you say cheap for what it is and it just happened to be a another petrol.

The other good thing is its gas too. I put £21.00 worth in at Morrisons the other day for nearly 40 litres!, Felt good when i looked at the man filling up next to me and what he paid for the same amount of petrol.

Surley it cannot get any cheaper to run,

I went out today to get some gas for the BBQ and called at Flo gas for a refil, I saw a Landy waiting by a small shelter, I asked if he was filling up with gas and he was,
I asked how much a litre was and it was only 49.9p.

Has to be good news.

Yes Sweety,
Had them done last weekend, It was really strange after having the Maverick done, When i got this one and the windows were standard it was like driving around in a glass house.
Much to much light and heat.

Front drivers and front passenger windows are done but to one shade above legal.

I know the feeling about driving in a green house  as i've only got the old style air conditioning ie wind down the windows -rotfl- -rotfl- -rotfl- I found with my last motors which I tinted the windows on it stayed much cooler in the summer but stragely it felt warmer in the winter :?
