Right, I hope this helps anyone that is attempting this, 3 mounts are accessible easily and two are captive (on either side and hidden) I started spraying with penetrant spray a week or so before to try and help but in reality the thread is hidden. As it turns out all went well, not one sheared bolt! We had to work a few of the bolts loose though, loosen, tighten and repeat :thumb2

Once loose jack up the body (not the chassis) one side at a time (make sure other side is loose but still located) then begin jacking and put the spacers in :thumb2

Only issue were the shape of my front bumper catching on the front of chassis by ac pipes :thumb2

Underneath the carpet, these silly plastic covers over the bolts... You'd hateful chisel hen to break em, no way of getting em off, so brittle

Rear door carpet up

Breaking the crappy plastic

Circular plastic mounted inside a metal square... Oh nissan...

To give you an idea of where it is located :thumb2

Rear mount undoing nicely

These ones under the body you have to work back and forth, if it starts to make a horrid graunching noise and spinning you will have to drill from the top. Luckily we worked it ok

Work it, push it :lol

Close up of mount by pedals

Let the jacking commence! We started like this, but the jack ran out of travel
Be careful to ensure you don't trap any fuel lines or brake lines!! Jack slowly and keep re checking!

Jacking again with more travel, this worked a treat :thumb2

Once jacked up you can see the obvious gap, do not put your fingers here!! this was my rear mount by bumper btw.

Front one lifting, more space needed yet :augie

Right.. Bumper off :lol

Here is the holes for the front bumper mounts.. Please note once lifted the holes will sit lower, you may need to cut something, we cut the bumper slightly and just about got a grip on the bolts, more fiddly than anything

Drivers side next to rad and ac condenser from the front

Passenger side the same

Jacking with the bumper off, keep going, getting there :lol

Soo close

And in you go cheeky bugger

Now for the cutting, sorry guys not what you wanted to happen :lol

Elty in action  what the hell is that monster truck parked up

Me n Steve working hard whilst Elty does bugger all... :kissy

A second monster truck present, looking cool Steve :thumb2

A huge thanks to Elton and Steve for the muscle and help :thumb2:thumb2

All went well mate:thumb2was a great help with you giving all the mounts a dose of penetrating oil for a couple of weeks before.
How did it feel driving back.when I did mine I couldn't really feel any difference in the handling just a bit better view of the road.

Yeah it's strange, don't really notice a difference, steering feels firmer though. Corners the same and motorway speeds have not suffered. Thought wind resistance would make it worse, but appears not :thumb2

I need go on a diet looking at those pics:eek:
Otherwise great pics alex:D

:lol:lol:lol catching me up mate :lol:lol:lol
I blame it on my glands......my cake eating gland don't work:lol:lol
