2.8TD exhaust

When I do get the old girl up on ramps finally to get exhaust etc ddisconnected for engine removal would like to look at fitting a stainless shortened exhaust,maybe a side exit like a lot of the SWB Trols have for offroading.That would mean one less box,also not sure of standard pipe size,has anyone got any thoughts or info on this?Not sure how it would affect emissions as well as being a bit noisier

I replaced the standard exhaust on my lwb with a custom made stainless steel exhaust 3" diameter the full length. Still have 2 boxes but smaller. It sounds great. So I would say having a single box on 2.8 td should sound good and probably help it breath easier.

Saw your posting on the exhaust and the vid,mmmmmmmmmm only slightly jealous,just need to verify if it causes a problem with the CT(French MOT) as I don't really want to waste money if they'd fail it,so far she has sailed through each time but want to make sure.
