I've had a look through the manuals and can't find the answers so any help gratefully rec'd.

1. what is the volume of fluid required?

2. Do I need to change the filter?

3. If so, will the filter from a Maverick/Terrano fit or do I need a specialist Mistral filter?

4. If Specialist Mistral filter where can I get one?

I've no idea re auto box but Engine oil, I use Castrol GTD you will need 7.2 litres if you are changing the filter and 6.5 litres if not.
However not all the oil comes out so I would check the dipstick before you put the last 0.5 litres in.
If you look at the downloads the oil filter is a bit of a challenge. I use a strap wrench you cannot get a chain wrench to fit, limited space around filter.
Be prepared for oil spillage and fill new filter with oil when re-fitting to reduce oil starvation. It is best to remove nearside front wheel and rubber cover to gain better access to the filter. If not, you will need to stand on a box if you are going in via the bonnet.
best regards, Rustic

1. 8.5 litres (may be less as some oil will stay in the transmission and torque converter)

2. No you do not need to change the filter as it is only a coarse metal strainer and should not need changing or cleaning.
