My Mistral has developed a fault which brings the mangement light on occasionally. When it comes on the engine power reduces but if i tap the accelerator it often goes out. Since the management light problem the vehicle is absolutely guzzleing diesel ... prob around or less than 15mpg MAX ! ... used to be around 28mpg +

Any ideas what might have failed or failing ... sensor maybe ?

My local garage wont touch it as they dont have the management interface for this vehicle ... :(

thanks ..

I think there is a download that sets out how to test for a fault using a paper clip and counting the flashes of the light. I personally haven't had cause to do this yet, but if you do and post the results here someone will help you interpret the fault code for sure.

I have also read that you can get the light on if you have water in the fuel filter. Mine has a drain cock on the bottom of it, once again never had to do this.

These are a couple of fairly simple places to start. Sorry I can't give you more technical advice.

Good luck with it.
