Is there an issue down sizing in tyres?

Currently have 16" and looking at 15" as I need a spare set of wheels? set of 4 on ebay with new tyres quite cheap.

All advise welcome...

As long as the 15 wheels fit over your hubs, nuts fit properly on the wheels and there is no rubbing on the body panels then all should be fine. Check on the tyre size calculator on the downloads section to see what tyre sizes in 15's will give you a roughly similar rolling diametre as you currently have in the 16's so there won't be too much change in mpg or speedo readings.

No problems at all

The speedo will be like a terrano :lol upto 5 mph out

:thumbs

!5" wheels have fatter tyres so I think the diameter is the same has the 16", my 15" wheels with 235x75 are 29" high if that's any help to you, Personally I can't see the point of larger wheels if the tyres are smaller, less air beneath your wheels. Low profile tyres puzzle me, I see Range Rovers with 20" wheels and thin tyres where the alloys almost touch the road and are so easy to kerb, what's the point? surely it cant be a road holding issue, being a cynic that I am I feel its a "posers" issue although it their money and they can spend it as they wish.
