15 inch steelies and tyres

The next mod I want to do is change the 17 inch alloys on my 54 plate 3.0.

I'm looking at going to 15 inch steels but need to know what the maximum size tyres (want a 50/50 road and off road tyre) I could have on the rims without any body mods. I'm not ready for doing that as yet!

And if there are any suggestions by the collective of where to buy new steels and tyres it would be appreciated and specific tyres to do the job....

if you want 50/50 then something like a AT tyre will suite you well.

Are you looking to buy rims new or second hand?

Iv got some 235/75/15 on and one the other truck has 265/75/16 (31's) The 265s catch on the bumper so had to trim it and remove the mud flaps and it has a 2" lift.

Without cutting id go up to 255/70/15s max but others may know more.
