My mate jules who exported his Navara to Africa says on the open roads, empty, hes getting 140mph out of his truck...

Its too slow to be kph... :nenau

He knows it got a new engine out of an outlaw put into it

and a new 5 speed gearbox from god knows what...?

Perhaps a long geared box or something....

Google says they are good for 98mph or 106mph.. something like that..

Any suggestions? :lol

There is no chance it could hit 140mph as the outlaw models engine is the same as every other model in the range:doh well it could if he's binned the crap 2.5 navara engine & fitted a modded skyline lump or maybe a highly tuned V6 lump that the US market:augie

Think he's telling you fibs mate as there is no way a dirty diesel will pull those sorts of speeds without spending a few grand on the engine & you need the right engine to start with & the 2.5 Renault engine isn't one of them infact Nissan have taken to de-tuning the 2.2 & 2.5 Renault engines they are using these days to try & stop them from blowing up all of the time:doh I know a lad with a 700bhp R32 skyline now if you put that under the bonnet of your T2 Alex you could prob get your T2 upto 150mph+ well that's if you didn't just smoke the tyres to death:lol:lol:lol
