Right guys, so after a long stint off the road for my truck, I haven't missed the effort required needed to pour cubies of Vegetable Oil into it To make it worse, with the 35's on and 3" body lift, I now have to lift them even higher up, and they are dead awkward not to splosh about at the best of times. I'm frankly sick of the mess and want to make life as easy as possible.
This in mind I set out to look for a decent quality 12v submersible pump that I could use to draw the vegetable oil out of the cubies or bottle etc. I have attempted this before but the one I purchased was a cheapo piece of Chinese rubbish that advertised 12l per minute but was more like 8-9 :doh it also gave up after a week or so and I binned it
This was the offending pump;

The product pictures looked great as you can see and I thought nothing of the diameter at the time of purchasing it. In my quest to replace it I then found a lovely orange coloured one of the same construction that claimed 21l per minute, that sounded more like it, so I ordered :doh

Note how I failed to spot that the external diameter of the pump was 51mm,pretty much good for nothing I use;
5l KTC bottles which have a 40mm I/D
20l KTC cubies which have a 48.33mm I/D &
25l Universal White containers which have a 50.31 I/D
So that one was returned before I could even use it!!!
Well I've been doing my research again and looking at spending some good wedge on one now and found this bad boy that seems to fit the bill perfectly not only being 38mm in diameter but promising the same 21l per minute that the 51mm Chinese one promised :naughty :naughty
It's a Rule IL500P, it's the big daddy of the range that have different coloured pump bodies based on the litre per minute output.

It's expensive though for what it is and I told myself I could justify the cost, then I spotted further down that it's only got a life of 75 HOURS!!!!! for a pump that expensive I'd be expecting 10x that or am I being unfair?
4 mins per tank of fuel near enough right? So how many fill ups would I get? :question
Is it worth hitting the buy button? :nenau
