nah, the veg oil between the filter and actual tip of injector are not going to benefit from the heater so it wont start any easier i reckon. i had one for my old t4, it was basically a lump of ally with glow plugs in it, utter rubbish tbh. just my opinion. mike.

These are a blanket that goes around your fuel filter keeping the fuel in the filter red hot, no ali block with glow plugs mate

so i tried this sort of thing and to be honest not much success the fuel isnt in the fuel filter long enough to heat up you also need to turn it on 5'or 10 mins before you start the engine to get the fuel in the filter warm to make any difference and as said the fuel in the pump and pipe to the injectors will still be waxed up and cold.

i will how ever be trying a proper decent made fuel preheater that connects inline just before the filter this comming winter once all my summer mods are completed
