If anyone is interested and you are as adamant as me that you will only use 10W 40 Mineral, I can get 10 litres for £29, obviously shipping would be on top of that.

So what make of oil filter are people using, as you should change your filter every oil change?

When I contacted Comma, they said that 15w40 would be OK for the T2.

I am stuck for the filters as my local merchant only stocks the cheapy ones...

I've currently got castrol magnatech in mine,10w40 semi synthetic.
Was on offer at local warehouse shop. 4 ltrs for 10.99.

I don't know a great deal about oils but I do want to put correct stuff in mine. I'm assuming 10w40 is the stuff but mineral, semi synthetic and I know theres others.
Went to Andrew Pages for 10w40 a while ago and could only get a 1 litre top up bottle.

They are will be stopping production of mineral oil in due course due to being more harmful to humans, environment etc plus demand for it has greatly dropped off as most car are happy with semi or fully synthetic oils but the article didn't say when:nenau I run mine on semi synthetic as it's cheaper than mineral which doesn't make sense
Jim it takes around 6.5-7 litres to do an oil change
