Hi guys. Need some help please.
I've been searching for threads for this but failed [emoji30]
My horn only works sometimes. It works when it's wiggled to the right best so need to remove it to examine the workings.
There's a cover at the bottom which has a plug behind (airbag?) and 2 small torx screws which holds the shroud at the back of the wheel in place but can't get this off until the wheel is off. [emoji53]
Anyone?

no need to take it off and DO NOT UNPLUG THE AIR BAG, just remove the plastic covers and when pressing the horn you will see several contacts about 4 mm diameter coming together, just fold a bit of 500 grit wet and dry paper in half, place about an inch into the gap press the horn and pull the paper out, you may need to do this several times on all the contacts, should be fine, to stop the horn sounding and upsetting other folk just pull the horn fuse, Rick

Cheers rick. Disconnected the battery yesterday before fudging about and did see a couple of bits that touch when pushing the horn.
Done what you suggested but can't get to the others cos no access. There's only 1 inspection panel which is at the bottom of the wheel.
Connected the battery and seems better. Thanks.
Also I reset the clock but didn't have to retune the radio?

Ah yet another difference on the later models, all others have more than one removable panel on the wheel, Rick

Seats you mean? Well thanks [emoji4]
They're in great condition. Just the usual wear/split on the edge of the drivers seat where lazy folk in the past dragged themselves in..
