    patrol on ebay

Initially under £3k but after advice here it looks like I'm going to have to spend more to get a sound one of the right year so probably £3-3.5K max.

    patrol on ebay

Yeh, I spotted that as well but it's a 2.8 and advice on here was that they were under powered so I've dismissed it. If anyone sees a 3.0l circa 2001-2003 let me know.

Still looking for a Patrol - Is 250,000 milesa an issue?

Was listed a couple of days ago. It's tempting but how much of a gamble it is, I don't know - don't know enough about these trucks. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Patrol-SUV-4x4-3-litre-Diesel-Auto-fully-loaded-long-mot-FSH-/253076699637?hash=item3aec8bf9f5:g:UhYAAOSwlhpZg0kT Test date: 28...

Still looking for a Patrol - Is 250,000 milesa an issue?

I think that's where I am now. I've been watching a couple for a while that if they only had a few lower miles, a year newer or go faster stripes I'd have snapped them up. This is the danger time, but there are so few about and those that are are miles away....other than that 250k miles one...

Still looking for a Patrol - Is 250,000 milesa an issue?

Hi Still looking for a Patrol and with advice from you guys (thanks) looking at a post 2002 3.0l. There is one locally (which is a rarity) - 2004, full service history, no corrosion references on MOT check but it has done 250k miles. Gearbox (Auto) replace 'recently'. Should I be concerned...

Possible 'New' Patrol - Serious Welding or Normal?

Thanks Davey, is my concern the engine or rust? coming from Land Rover I have a rust phobia. If it's got a good service history and minimal suggestion of rust, conditioning says it's a banker but I'm in new territory here. I'm sensing engine focus for the era I'm looking at, is that it? A newer...

Possible 'New' Patrol - Serious Welding or Normal?

Here we go in the search for a Patrol. Not many about and all those I've checked in my age/price bracket all seem to have major corrosion issues at MOT but 1 only has minor reference and I'm not sure how big a problem it could be. Having a look personally at this stage isn't an option as it's a...

Hey I'm Blue. :thumb2 Great - what now - oh yes, I remember, buy a Patrol. Firstly though, what's the etiquette on where I post if I'm just looking for buying advice, general info or an opinion on a potential Patrol and what problems may be lurkin' - that sort of thing? Are there any...

Thanks Thanks everyone, I can see I'm going to enjoy being here. All very well being on a Nissan 4x4 forum but I need a Nissan 4x4  Wheelie, thanks for your offer, may take you up on that but starting to feel a bit of a fraud right now. Looking hard but not much about it seems...

    New Member Saying Hi

Hi everyone, Having owned numerous older Land Rover 110s over the years I became fed up increasing the share price of welding gas suppliers. Whilst they were great fun travelling around Europe and the UK it was a bit of a solo experience as there was no way Mrs Rusty Horse and the foals would...
