Thanks all for the replies. So would any UK-sold (i.e. not imports) cars have had the TD25? I've seen a few advertised as such, but I'm keen to avoid an import, or one that's had an engine swap. Also, how can an idiot (i.e. me) tell at a glance a TD25 from a YD25?

p.s. I also thought that the Navara name came in when the shape changed from the 97-00 "slopey"? As stated, all info greatly received.

Hi Thanks for coming back so quickly. I understood that the 86-97 D21s had the TD25 engine, as did the slopey-nosed (for want of a better description!) 97-00 D22s?
