    tunit 2 box for sale

The reason for selling is to raise some much needed cash for another project. Trust me if I didn't have to I wouldn't be selling this little box of magic. I already have a maf amp which does the job that it needs to. I was reminded by my wife that the T2 is meant to be a family car and not some...

    tunit 2 box for sale

Not sure which one mark has however I have 4 wires on mine that connect to the ecu wiring and very easy to fit. Took me about 30 mins to fit it. Mine has a wiring harness which has 4 wires which you scotch block on to certain ecu wires. Very simple indeed.

    small or big issue????

Gents, I have a small issue with my T2 which seems to rear it's ugly head at various times. When driving along as normal the car suddenly and for no apparent reason goes in to some form of limp mode. I can still rev up to 3k and above however when I looked at the boost gauge it will not go above...

    Unrelated but help needed

Right, got the tyres changed and it appears not to have changed the noise. The car steers in a straight line without any vibration in the steering wheel etc. The noise is noticeable above 20mph and doesn't appear to get louder the faster you go. I shall have a look at the discs incase they are...

Getting the tyres changed now so that rules out one potential issue and hopefully the noise.

Thanks for all the replies gents, the car has alloy wheels (if that makes any difference. Recently changed the pads and discs so happy it isn't that. Shall be fitting new tyres tomorrow as they are looking a little low. Fingers crossed that stops the problem :thumb2

    rear brakes sticking

Right I have taken the drum apart and funnily enough the rear shoes had come away from the shoe lining. The wheel cylinder is also shot to pieces. So I need new shoes and a new cylinder. I believe they are 280mm by 65mm (the shoes that is). Anyone able to confirm if this sounds about right?? I...

    rear brakes sticking

Gents, I have a major issue with my drivers side rear brakes. When travelling along the rear brake drum on the drivers side binds and can only be released when rolling backwards. The drum is getting very warm indeed. Any ideas?? And how to fix the problem?

    Turbo timer

For all of those "quitters" out there I can officially confirm that the offence of quitting no longer exists. It was abolished some years ago. If however you leave the keys in the ignition and walk away from the vehicle, apart from being stupid your insurance would be void and no claim could be...

    Turbo timer

I shall check however for the offence of "quitting" I believe the keys have to be in the ignition I. E u have left the car unattended ready to go. Companies such as Clifford alarms do a alarm package that allows you to press a button on the fob which starts the car for you and warms it up. I...

    Tunit box for sale

Will work with both, very simple to wire in and does make a far amount of difference, certainly enough to make you smile a little bit more. I have a bosch set up and it couldn't have been easier to fit. Most painful part was get to the ecu which was behind the center console on my T2.

    Tunit box for sale

I have this exact one and it fits fine in the 2.7tdi, makes the T2 rather pokey too.
