Rust. Is this chassis rust or body rust ? I know the older patrols have arch issues. Most of the trucks I've owned have been imports so chassis always in good condition and be hoping a 2004 patrol would be just as clean.

The Cruiser was a great truck, just a bit sore on fuel. 22mpg on a run and about 14 in town! It was raised, running 285's and a huge roof rack. So the Patrol will be a sensible truck,ha.

Not an owner yet but seriously considering a Patrol. Sold my Landcruiser 80 series and now looking for a replacement. Have found a 2004 model with 74k on it. Will be looking for advice on things to look for. Seem to remember 2003 onwards have the better engine, perhaps I'm totally wrong...
