Fitted a new set of glow plugs and a glow plug relay yesterday and now it starts a treat.

I've sold loads of cars on ebay before, never so many watchers without even an enquiry! I can do pics of the engine and boot, but actually these areas look exactly the same as all the other Terranos out there. Sounds like I need to sort the glow plugs!

Well I've been through everything trying to sort my speedo but I have come to the conclusion that as it's just the speedo and odometer affected (everything else is fine) it must be the drive on the gearbox. So does anyone have the electrical speed sensor from the gearbox of an 2000 Terrano Tdi?

I've found it difficult to find secondhand ones for less than £130 and new ones about double that. Found fibreglass ones for £90 each new, may be the way to go!

I have a BMW with 4 failed glow plugs (good job it has 6 cylinders) and it still starts on the button so I doubt it's one failed glowplug. I'll check the relay etc.

Had my 2001 (X reg) Terrano a couple of years and done pretty well nothing to it. Anyway it's hard to start, from cold it needs easy start so I'm thinking glow plugs or controller. Once it's warm it starts dead easily. Can anyone tell me where to find the glow plug relay/control unit/fuse?
