Well I ended up welding a section across with the spring seats about 2 and a half inches lower than the originals to give it a lift. Only problem I have is that its in the way of where the exhaust needs to run so just going to put a down facing tail pipe on the end of the centre section...

I managed to get it a lot cheaper than it was advertised for and got the alloys with insa special tracks in the deal to ;-) Just hope it stays dry for a while so I can sort it

Just bought myself a swb maverick, didn't really look at it, knew it was gonna be rusty anyway but it was cheap and it's only for a bit of fun over winter. changed the wheels turns out the rust is a bit worse than I was expecting though as the rear spring seats have rusted off the chassis...
