I have looked unfortunately most are 100+ miles away so really want to have a look around one local to me before I decide traveling any distance to buy one just in case it's not my thing after all.

Anyone got a Tarrano/maverick 2.7Tdi or Patrol SWB I could have a good look around before I think about buying one please.:nenau

Do the Patrols suffer from Tin worm like the terrano?

If no Tarrano/Maverick a nice swb nissan patrol would also be good.

It will mostly get used on the road its just for some of the rutted muddy farm tracks and fields getting to shoots. Since I have found the Impreza may be awd but the turbo kicks in and its all wheel spin and lack of ground clearance.

How much difference is there between a Nissan patrol & a Terrano Swb? I presume the Terrano would drive more car like? Even looking at Rav 4 lwb now but think diesel is the way to go.

I keep hearing people say about running some 4x4 on veg oil. Where do you buy it? Also is the Terrano any better than the Maverick in terms of Rust and reliability since hear the SWB (Which I prefer) has wheel arch rust problems?

I was wandering what is the real MPG most people get from there Terrano/Maverick 2.7Tdi since had enough of my Impreza with its 18mpg economy with limited ground clearance on farm tracks and looking at PX it for a terrano/Maverick TDi instead since it may be cheaper to run hopefully.

Looking at up to £2000 for a good one since the Impreza i'm selling is just under that. I'd say with in 60 miles of Hampshire max since dont want to travel too far if it's not worth it since my current car only does 18mpg so would end up spendig fortune in Petrol.

I’m looking for a swb Terrano/Maverick of the 2.7Tdi or 3.0Tdi varieties in the Hampshire area please. Don’t mind a few dents & scratches lifted Ect... But must be mechanically sound with rust free bodywork if possible.

I presume the Maverick and terrano 2.7Tdi are the same except the the badge but the mavericks seem cheaper? Also what is the cheapest way to lift them body lift or suspention lift or is it the same thing?

Yes thats the repair by the looks of it. Seems a bit hight priced if it has had bodywork done?

Is it torsion bar all round. Reason i say i want coil spring is been in various Suzuki's, Frontera And Land rovers and they seem rather bumpy on the road?
