    Give up Right I gave her a good run and light stayed on fiddled about a little more with no results so finally disconnected, and it's staying that way. Thanks for the advise everyone but I think I'm better off without sensor.:nenau

    Yeah the wire's definitely connected and I haven't given the wires any stick so probability says it's not a break and it runs great so think it's just a glitch, I'll let you know when I find out it'll add to the knowledge base.

    Spurred on by the easy to follow instructions on changing the fuel filter on my Terrano, I finally had the courage to do it myself but just knew something would go wrong. The change went swimmingly but when all was done the 'water in fuel' light was on when I checked the dash. Now I've checked...
