Terrano 3.0SVE auto 54 plate for sale

Hi all,it's time to sell the Terrano. :( Hardly used it this year as the caravan doesn't move off site so I need to get rid. I've had it 18months and enjoyed every mile but a 400 mile weekly commute has meant I now can't afford to keep it. For anyone towing it's a dream, better than a Disco at a...

Replacing brake fluid - system capacity

Hi all Replacing brakes on Terrano next weekend, anyone know how much brake fluid in the system? Planning on using Eezi-bleed starting at caliper nearest reservoir, both rear cylinders leaking so do them last and bleed through. Any tip / hints etc. gratefully received. Thanks Tony

    Breaking Terrano 2 and Mavericks

Passenger side sun visor clip Hi I need the clip that retains the passenger side sun visor. Not the 'hinge' side, it's the clip next to the interior mirror. Grey plastic would be nice, with screws even better. Piddly little part but...... Cheers Tony

    3.0 T2 oil warning light

Well then....... Took connector off, found that there was no light whatsoever. Gave liberal squirt of WD40 and tapped the body of the switch (finger tap, not hammer tap) and reconnected. All works fine. Hoorah!. Light comes on, light goes off etc etc so it's changing state and appears to be...

    3.0 T2 oil warning light

RAC guy says they don't measure oil pressure any more 'cos they've made too many false predictions about it just being a sensor and then the engine giving up 10 miles down the road. So the guy in the van came out after 2 hours and then said "yep, oil lights on, need a recovery truck" Quite...

    3.0 T2 oil warning light

Just had the pleasure of a 40 mile trip home on the back of an RAC recovery truck. Went to see friends today in Nuneaton, stopped just before we got there for a coffee, when we restarted oil light was on. Crawled to their house and let it cool. Checked oil level (ok) and there's some oil being...

Hi, info needed RE X Trail

For our fourpenorth, our 56 plate 2.2dci SVE has been faultless from new (38k). Only downside is that the tyres are not common fitment and therefore quite expensive (compared to £50 a corner for our Disco) but then they lasted well to 34k. Main dealer servicing hasn't been that bad either...

    T2 in 4H on semi-gritted roads?

Cheers all :thumbs I was fine till yesterday, then got it all sideways turning onto our drive. It was actually quite controllable and therefore really good fun but I did'nt hit the neighbours new 3 series which probably would have soured the mood a little . Just don't want to be sitting in a...

    T2 in 4H on semi-gritted roads?

Please be gentle.... Just how slippy does the road surface need to be to run in 4H? My last disco was permanent 4WD thus removing the need for a decision, my X-Trail 'seems' to be okay running in 4WD on winter road surfaces but the transmission instructions on the drivers sun visor of my T2...

    Yet another newbie after advice....

Howdo all. Just bought a 54 plate 3.0SVE Terrano II and loving it. :clap Anybody got any good advice about what these things are really like? I've swapped the Terrano for my '96 Disco 300TDi (plus small amount of cash of course), great tow car but needed soooo much attention, virtually every...
