    I had a break

Hi chaps, Not been on here for a while, mainly due to health reasons. I have mental health problems which I deal with sometimes by going off line and focusing on myself until I'm firing on at least 2 of my cylinders again. I think I'm up to 3 now :lol I decided to sell rusty trusty. I needed...

    rusty trusty the Terrano

Well, I thought I should probably start a thread for the building up of rusty trusty. Some info first... I bought him off the brother in law in February this year, so I know the history of him for the last few years (trusty is definitely male). He's been pretty well looked after and had work...

    close call

After mulling over the amount of work needed on the Terrano I decided to put him up for sale last night on Facebook market place. Ridiculous amount of interest in him and a long line of people coming to view him. I've just let them down and taken him off sale, can't bear to part with him...

    tyre question

Hi chaps, my terrano is running 17inch wheels and has fixed hubs. For the price of a couple of replacement tyres I have found some sets of wheels on ebay with tyres but they are off an earlier model. Are there certain wheels I need to use with the fixed hubs or can I use any.? (I have it...

    Tyre wear

Hi chaps, Is there any particular problem on the terrano that would cause massive tyre wear on the inside of the front ? I have killed a set of new tyres in about 8000 miles. Drivers side right down to the canvas. The tyre pressures are right and I know it hasn't been in an accident. Is it...

    dipstick needed

Hi chaps. Bit of an odd one but I need a dipstick for a 2.7 diesel. I opened the bonnet to check the oil and the top has gone missing :nenau. No idea how that happened. Cheers :thumb2

    Blimey

I changed the rear Dif oil on the terrano a few days ago. The difference it has made is huge. No more rumbling in reverse, seems smoother and the odd squeaky noise on the over run which I thought may have been in the clutch has gone as well. It was thick on disgustingly dirty and a lot of gooey...

    tyre sizes.. (again)

Hi chaps, Sorry if this has been posted many times (I would think it has) but would a 2 inch lift allow for tyre sizes around 31 inch.? My suspension is old and tired so at some point I will be replacing it. It would be nice to add a small lift and go for some A/T tyres. Don't want to go silly...

    Squeaky noise

Hi all, I have a squeaky noise (I think thats the best way to describe it) coming from somewhere in the transmission. It makes the noise if you let off the throttle when driving but goes if you push the clutch in or go back on the throttle. Is there any obvious faults on these before I start...

    reversing light

I live on a pretty dark lane and reversing onto the drive in the dark is a pain at the best of times. I have discovered the reversing light on the Terrano is about the same as a candle on the bumper. Has anyone upgraded theirs in any way.? I will try an LED bulb and see if that helps.

    my new terrano

Picked my Terrano up last night. 2.7 LWB. :D Opinions so far... I like it. Seems nice and well built, not as slow as i thought it would be. Plenty of equipment, even the A/C works properly. Comfy and the driver and passenger seat have trays for the rear. Thats butty space sorted for when me...

    Newbie from Cheshire

Hi all, Will be getting my first terrano in a few weeks. Buying it off my brother in law. 2005 lwb 2.7 in nice condition with no rot, he has looked after it well. Not had one of these before but had many other 4x4s so will be good to see what these are like. It won't be used for any...
