My father inlaws T2 has been making some serious noises when the clutch is not pressed but goes when its pressed down, So we presumed it was the thrust bearing and ytoday fitted a brand new clutch kit complete with bearing. To no Joy the noise is still there so any suggestions are welcome???

My maverick has been playing up a littlr lately and all suggested the MAF was the source, A local mechanic put a hand held scanner on the car earlier and the MAF was reading at anything from 1.20vdc upto 2.90vdc and was fluctuating whilst on tickover. Could this still be a possible problem?
