    Hi all (with problems already!)

Yeah that's not far away at all

    Hi all (with problems already!)

I'll give him a ring - we got it from london so it's a fair way to take it to find out they wont take it back. I'll call them tomorrow and see what he says.

    Hi all (with problems already!)

It was from a dealer, "sold as seen". Not sure we have any grounds to take it back?

    Hi all (with problems already!)

We have had the key changed, but it's a mechanical fault as far as I can tell - the locks physically wont move. It cant need recoding, it was fine when we first got it.

    Hi all (with problems already!)

The key doesnt do anything in the driver side lock. We have only one key and it is very worn. I dont think the key is the problem though - we cant lock the doors using the inside catch of the driver side door, it feels as though it is stuck on something.

    Hi all (with problems already!)

Would it pass an mot with this? It was MOT'd the day before we collected it, and passed with no trouble. It does sound to me like it is blowing, I asked the guy at the garage, he said it's fine.

    Hi all (with problems already!)

Thanks for that. I will send the vehicle specific kit back then!

    Hi all (with problems already!)

I'll take a look tomorrow, although as I say, I'm not very mechanically minded (I work in air traffic, we have people to fix our kit for us!). I will bear your offer in mind - although we do need a 4x4 and I think most of the problems are fixable.

    Hi all (with problems already!)

I couldnt see anything jamming the lock when I removed the door cover, but then again I couldnt see much! I'll try to apply 12v to the motors tomorrow, if I can find them. We bought the car about 5 weeks ago, and all this (except the locks) was already happening (although we didnt realise some...

    Hi all (with problems already!)

That's interesting - that link is for a document provided by Towequip, who are the people I bought the towbar from (and I;ve never seen that document, it would be helpful if they sent it out!!) They are also the ones who sold me the relay and wiring kit specifically for that car!

    Hi all (with problems already!)

So there is just one solenoid? Of the 4 windows, one works. If it was the driver side one working that'd make more sense, but it's the passenger front one that's ok. I think now we're talking throttle bodies etc it's time to get the car into the garage! Just debating if it's worth the cost to...

    Hi all (with problems already!)

It's a 2000. Yes, central locking is factory fit. I got the adapter with the towbar to plug straight in. I just need to find the flasher unit then find some way to route the cables to rear.
  14. K

    Hi all (with problems already!)

Tow bar instructions say I need to replace the flasher unit relay with a heavy duty one (supplied) and run the cables back from there. Where is the window solenoid? Or is it one for each window? I'm not very mechanically minded, what's the MAF?

    Hi all (with problems already!)

The mil light? Not sure what this is. Havent taken it to a garage yet, am waiting to have the ££ to pay for it! I will also pay the £10 for the site once I have money (payday soon thank god!)

    Hi all (with problems already!)

Hiya everyone! Just registered on the site as I've searched google for about 2 hours trying to find the information I need, all to no avail! We are having a 'few' issues with the Terrano 2, 2.4 we bought a few weeks back, if anybody can shed any light on them? 1) Only one of the electric...
