I earthed the drivers side, the side with the problem.

I'll earth the other headlight and get my mate to come down to take the voltages after lunch. The bulb gets really hot (much hotter than the passnger side bulb) when both filaments are glowing. With or without engine running, on dip or on main beam, the drivers headlight is dim with both...

No, should I do ?

I cut the old earth cable off the bulb holder and connected a new earth which I fitted to the negative terminal, but the bulb still lights both elements on main and dip beams.:confused::confused::confused:

I'm trying to find the MAFS on the T2 2.4i. I know what it looks like THIS. Does anyone know where it is on this picture of a similar 2.4i engine ?

Just checked and can confirm that both elements are glowing, both on dip and high beam.

Another problem, this one stops me driving at dark, I noticed the drivers side headlight was dimmer than the other side, on both high and dip. I checked the bulb and noticed that the bit the bulb plugs into had melted away on one of the connectors, I threw it away and bought another, that...

Yeah the battery is good, oh well, the alarm doesn't work anyway, I think they disconnected the horn for the alarm because the flashers blink on and off but no audio alarm.

Iv'e been looking at these wheels, would my new tyres fit these wheels, the tyres are 235-70-r16, and will the hub center cap on that wheel fit over the hub center on the T2 ? :confused:

I got the 2 hub centers off the back wheels of my mates 1995 T2, but the back hub centers dont fit the front wheels, not sure what to do now ??:confused:
