thanks for that, just bought my first 4x4 (06 pathfinder) and while it's still nice and shiny don't really want to take it to an off road centre, give it a few weeks though and I'll be getting stuck with the rest of you! :lol in the mean time I'll hunt out some more lanes.

lound there seems to be few fairly near each other, or have i got it wrong and these are not byways? cheers Dan
