Had same problem. ( just 2 hours after I bought my terrano :doh) The clamps that secure power steering return pipes to front cross member had coroded and split the pipe Easy fixed by cutting damaged piece and reconnect end using 10mm compresion joint and pipe insert (plumbers fittings) :thumbs
