    Solarman216 - I have adjusted the stops, and to be honest I didn't think about the auto rev. I'm new to these engines, so learning lol. Will have a look and see if there is such a device. Milners is not far away from me :)

    Just joined today, recently bought a 1989 Patrol 3.3 turbo. In good condition generally, but has a few things that need doing, i.e. tick over is too high, check cable and its adjusted as far as it can go. Any ideas what else I can try? Cheers
