oil I would agree with Toolbox on this one. 5w 30 is far too thin (its more for new technology diesels,common rail fords etc) 15w 40 is spot on,mineral oil will do fine,no real need for semi-synthetic. Just change it every 6k,as recommended.

The one shown on ebay is for a mk 3 (late 99-02) I think the mounting brackets are slightly differerent at the bumper.

mafs Hi shambler, just as a matter of interest,my 03 2.7 tdi is fitted with,what nissan list as the 3.0 litre mafs(exact same part number as yours) so presumably they are interchangeable.

oil filter I'm sure you've already done this I always make sure the car is at normal running temperature before doing an oil change.Remember years back trying to do one on a cold engine,wouldnt budge. I always use a chain type filter remover,a bit fiddley,but works fine.

update Turns out the air flow meter fitted to mine is the same part number as the three litre! Therefore,the air flow meters are interchangeable between the 2.7 and the 3.0(and probably some patrols) Think ill be giving the £250 3.0 litre one a miss,and get a forty pound one. Hope this is...

Hi Rosie, To adjust the time,turn the reset button anti-clockwise to increase the hours,clockwise increases the minutes.Hope this helps, Darin.
